Privacy policy
This page explains what the Forward With Dignity website collects, why, and who handles it. It covers this website only. Evaluation records are handled separately, through a secure intake process.

Who I am
This website is run by Dr. Venera Bekteshi, PhD, MSW, MPA, MA, LCSW, doing business as Forward With Dignity ("I", "me"). If you have a question about this policy or about information you have sent through the site, write to me through the inquiry form.
What the inquiry form collects
When you send the inquiry form, I receive what you type: your name, email address, whether you are writing as an attorney or an individual, your organization, the case type, any deadline or hearing date, the jurisdiction, a subject line, and your brief description.
Please keep that description non-confidential. Do not send declarations, medical records, or other sensitive details through the form. If we work together, records are exchanged only after a secure intake channel is in place.
The form is delivered to me by email and kept in the practice's inquiry records so I can reply and follow up. A spam check runs on each submission so I receive real inquiries, not automated ones.
The chat assistant
The chat window on this site is an automated assistant. It answers questions about the practice from the information published on this website. What you type is sent to an AI service to write the reply and is not saved afterwards. The assistant cannot see your case, is not monitored by a person in real time, and is not for emergencies.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the servers that host this site keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
When you arrive, your browser remembers the first page you visited for the length of your visit (session storage, cleared when you close the tab). If you then send an inquiry, that page is included so I can see which page brought you here. This site does not use advertising cookies, and it does not run advertising or third-party analytics tags. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
Other services this site links to
- Scheduling. The "Book a 15-minute fit call" links open Calendly, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.
- Videos. The training videos are served from this site's media host. Some pages embed or link to YouTube videos; YouTube may set its own cookies when you play one.
- Documents and profiles. Links to publications, LinkedIn, and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Who else handles your information
I do not sell or rent your information, and I do not share it for advertising. The only other parties that handle it are the companies that host and run this website, deliver the form, power the chat assistant, and provide the services listed above, each only to do that job. I may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond, to follow up on a case you have asked about, and to keep ordinary business records.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete what you have sent through this site by writing through the inquiry form. This website is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information through it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
